John Bulovas, DVM DABVP (Canine/Feline)
Dr. Bulovas has more than 25 years of veterinary experience, has lived in The Woodlands for more than 20 years and is a respected member and mentor in the veterinarian community. He is TPLO certified and has performed hundreds of these surgeries since 2002, and he has additional training in advanced internal medicine and orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Bulovas is a member of a select group of canine and feline specialty practitioners. He received two undergraduate degrees and a doctoral degree from Texas A&M University. He played football as part of the 12th Man Kickoff Team in 1989 and is an active member of the A&M Letterman Association. He is a member of the 12thMKOT foundation which gives scholarships to students attending Texas A&M University. Many of the funds are from donations and sales of No Experience Required, a book written by Jackie Sherrill, the former football coach and athletic director of Texas A&M.
Dr. Bulovas is the last of eight children and is a native Texan. He and his family have lived in The Woodlands for more than 20 years. He and his wife, Jennifer, have three children plus Tinkerbell, a terrier who was rescued when she was a pup.
Kendal Kelley, DVM
Dr. Kendal Kelley joined our hospital in 2014. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas and her DVM from Texas A&M University. She loved her time in Austin and College Station but calls Houston home. In her free time, Dr. Kelley enjoys spending time with family, watching college football, traveling and being outdoors. She shares her home with a cat named Calypso, a Brittany spaniel named Dabo, and husband Scott.
Megan Brown, DVM
Dr. Megan Brown is a Woodlands native, having lived in The Woodlands since she was 5 years old. She graduated from The Academy of Science and Technology at The Woodlands College Park High School in 2010. She is a proud Fightin’ Texas Aggie and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M in 2014 and then obtained her DVM from Texas A&M in 2018. When she isn’t working, she enjoys horseback riding and playing polo on her thoroughbred mare Panda (a retired A&M Polo pony) as well as spending time with her family and two dogs, Rosie and Tater Tot.
Erin Overholt graduated as LVT (Licensed Veterinary Technician) in 2008 and came to work at Animal Hospital of The Woodlands. She has her Bachelor degree from Auburn University. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband Matt and two children, Reagan and Preston. They also have two dogs named Sadie and Trevor.
